Applimex has developed proprietary molecular evolution technology, which can optimise the performance of enzymes for specific applications. Applimex can generate chimeric enzymes from naturally occurring genes and tailor these to deliver targeted improvements in physicochemical properties, including substrate selectivity and binding, regio- and enantioselectivities, catalytic activities, kinetic properties, and stabilities to thermal and other denaturants.
